    200tdi or 4jb1t

I have just bought a 110 single cab flat deck, it was originally a 2.25 petrol and at some stage someone has fitted what looks like an isuzu c220 or similar. I want to replace it and have the option of a 4jb1t or 200tdi. I have both engines, the 4jb1 i bought out of a bighorn and the 200tdi is in my disco.

Which is the better of the 2? Will be upgrading the turbo of what ever i use

maybe we can give you a better answer if let us know what gearbox and what bellhousing/adapter you're going to use

unless I'm mistaken by some distortion in the pic, it looks a little longer than 110" ?

Will be using the lt77 at this stage, making an adapter will not be a problem. It has an isuzu c190 diesel in it now so hopefully the bellhousing is the same as the 4jb1.

    It definitely is a 110

They are either gear or belt. Mine is belt, the holden rodeo used the gear driven ones for a bit longer

If the bellhousing pattern of the c190 matches the 4JB1T, I'd use that. If it doesn't, I'd use the 200tdi. There isn't enough difference between the two to make either worth being the difficult option.

I'm mainly just chiming in to say that's a beaut 110 though

Well im going with the isuzu engine, have just bought a 4jh1. Its basically a later 3l version of the 4jb1. It has an electronic pump but the mechanical pump from the 4jb1 fits on it so will use the bits from the 4jb1 i bought
