    Ummm,
If you were happy enough drilling and tapping an oblique hole into a small enclosed space for the flanges - Im thinking you are more than qualified for drilling and tapping a drain and fill point in your existing swivels?

flanges were straight forward and actually a good idea, easier to just buy
a set of swivels when I rebuild, or check by eye and drain by suction pump

yeah okay if you say so?
    Its two holes.
Drill then tap with the outer swivel housing on the bench when you do your rebuild - their location is pretty arbitrary and you could almost choose whatever size you fancied

Id probably run M10x1.25 for the drain and M8x1.0 for the fill and use dome head cap screws with copper washer to seal

    each to their own?

    No dramas.
Swivels are easy in a driveway! probably easier than gearbox mounts!

Running oil for a while before doing them will flush the CV moly grease nicely making clean out much easier!
I wouldnt sweat on level location - it is pretty arbitrary. Just get a nice fitting location above the half height of the housing. That will half fill the CV and half fill the bearing space.

gearbag mounts can be a bear if your T-case cross member is stucky.
support gearbox and transfer case with trolley jack as far forward as you dare.
Undo the cross member bolts and see if you can lower the system. If its jammed up really well you could try installing a highlift jack and slightly spread the rails.

    have fun

so long as you drill perpendicular to the face all you need is the location of the holes for the plugs...

    you need 3

one fill (this you have ) one level and one drain.

right off the top.. level and drain are 3/8 or 8mm and the fill is 13 mm..

filling is just a case of open fill and open lelvel then fill up till it comes out of the level plug, reinsert both.

drain is just open fill and open drain.

drain and level are not a standard nut (the head is about 3x longer than normal so they stick proud of the recess and are easily identifiable from the other bolts that are similarly sized around them) and the fill is your stock 3/8 male or female drive drain type bung.

you can do them on vehicle but I usually would reccomend off.
