Has anyone got to the bottom of this one? I flagged it at the dealers yesterday (after limping in with 3 turbo hoses split!). They advised that the puma doesn’t have an oil temp sensor..?

Mine reads the same random, erratic temps.
The puma DOES have an oil temp sensor. It also has an oil pressure switch. There is details is the service manual under the heading "Electronic engine controls- description and operation"

If I could get my grubby hands on one of these oil temp sensors, it would not be too difficult to get an oil level output out of it too... unless of course it's rendered inoperable by the puma sump (if vastly different from the other sumps on non 4x4's... transits etc)

Thanks Toxic, I’ll have another go with the service guys today. Be good to hear if anyone has it working!

I've never seen oil temp / pressure as an option on my ultra gauge for puma 2.2. Kerry.

    Still here.
Still getting erroneous readings when I have the nanocom connected.

Kerry- probably not an available feature of your code reader. My experience was with the Nanocom device.

    I will have to check.
I have a feeling that the sensor is there but not plugged in.
