    Thanks, Blknight, but is there a more general term for it as searching this doesn't show up with much?

    If it doesn't seem to match any of the official Defender colors over the years, then a auto spray painter will be able to match it based on a good image. They can also do tests so that you can hold a piece of metal in your hands and see if it's right.

    Yeah there's no issues getting the job done just wanted to source some other examples of it in use

    It's a Series III so maybe have a look here http://www.landroverseries.org/paint-codes.htm or here https://www.paintman.co.uk/colour-identifier/series-3/

    Of course it may not be a standard LR colour, plus colours can change in different lighting conditions.
