Nope. Avgas is high octane petroleum.
I ran it in my street car years ago...
jet Fuel is essentially Kero..

So if you mixed kero with 2st oil you've got good diesel :)

that will run the old Fordson tractors very well.
Once temps drop below a certain point down the Antarctic we would change all diesel vehicles to SAB (Special Antarctic Blend). Then when temps dropped even further change to Jet A-1. Have forgotten the temps that dictated the changes.Quote:
