Question Problem with Drivers Door Window falling down?

    Gents....

Slowly been trying to get my '95 Defender registered, but the latest problem is that the drivers side door window fell down inside the door. I've removed the Door Trim and re-fitted the window back into it's original position but how/what is suppose to keep it in it's support frame?
I can't see how these windows are kept in place other than some sort of clamping ???

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah my 94 done it for years until i had to replace the whole assembly inside as the wheels inside the bottom track wear out and can pop out of the channel that the bottom of the window is mounted on.

Is there some way of preventing the glass window from dislodging from where it sits?...... Silicon?..... small amt of glue?

I saw these 2 plastic retainers.... Looks like its just held in via pressure..... Might try some silicon or something to hold the window in the plastic retainers.....
