Replacement outlet tap for water tank in 110 Wagon

I'm having trouble finding a replacement outlet tap for my rear quarter 36L water tank. It's starting to leak due to corrosion of the valve. Does anyone know of a direct replacement available, or the distributor of these (South African) tanks please?

    Cheers

Try APT or the Expedition Centre, who sell them.

I have a somewhat similar, but more compact, tap on my Australian made sill tank. For that one, try any reasonable sized rural supplies place - used on rainwater tanks.

That's it, or close enough, anyway. I am slightly surprised Bunnings have it - but note "not all products available at all stores".

Hi Brid , It looks like a spring loaded 1/2" hose bib if you can't get the same or similar . Go 1/4 turn hose bib cock , they common you shouldn't have to many problems tracking one down . Take it with you to make sure it's the same thread size !!.. Jim

Thanks for your comments everyone. I'm thinking if I can find a chrome plated brass version (or SS) it might last longer than the original.
