    Nugget stiffies

    Bought a set of nugget rear brake shoe protector stiffies ........plan to fit them tomorrow ..........question .......do I need to remove the. Wheels or do the brake shoe guards come off with out taking off the wheels .....they appear to be held on by 3 bolts ......

    I got the left rear off without removing the wheel, the right wheel just wouldn't come off without removing the wheel.
    I then removed both wheels(Don't forget to put the vehicle on stands....don't get crushed!).
    Job was sooo easy with the wheels off.

    ...if I take the wheels off I'll chock up real good ......thanks for reminding me .....
    so easy to forget the really important bits ......

    Oh and another thing ......how much silicon did you use .....a liberal smear .....or a few dollops .............I am told the silicon helps to strengthen the whole set up

    Maybe Wayne could do some "I've got a stiffy" stickers that he could throw in the package with each pair of stiffies he sells. I could put it next to the "I've got a woody" sticker that I got with my Tom Woods drive shaft...
