Thread: Texaco XLC availability/alternative

Is there any mainstream auto shops(NSW) who sells the recommended Texaco XLC coolant for the ole Defender 2.2?

What are peoples opinions using other aluminium safe coolants?

I dont know if the Texaco / Havoline (Chevron) product is even available in AU.

On all customers vehicles that use a red/orange coolant, I use;
PENRITE HD LONGLIFE EC01 PREMIX.

but I dont think its available as a retail product (although any repairer that uses Penrite could order it in for a customer), I'd recommend:
PENRITE Red Coolant Premix

8 YEAR 500,000KM RED PREMIX

Also, regardless of manufacturers or coolant info, I recommend customers change coolant every 2 years.
