    Defender Roof Bars?

    I was in Melbourne for work recently and I saw a Silver 110 with what looked like black steel flat bars across the roof.
    The bars hugged the profile of the roof from gutter to gutter, and at the distance I was at, it looked as if there was no space between the roof and the bars.
    This was in the Melbourne CBD on Friday 3/6.

    Is this a readily available roof rack? A one-off? Or is it more like a roll-cage / exo-cage?

    I don't remember too many details as it passed pretty quickly, and I was thinking about something work related at the time.

    Roof racks.

    Hi. Just looking on Defender2 website and seen these. They are Nakatanenga Cargo Bear roof racks but they are not due for release June or July, 2016. Photos were taken by Brendan of 4x4overlander in England. They may be similar to what you saw in Melbourne. Cheers.

    I like the look of those and will probably buy. You say when the become available in June or July but they look available now on their German website, not that my German is up to spec lol.

    Just posted pics in the show us your Deefers section. I bought a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform and the arms curve right against the body with the back half not far off the roof. Super modular with heaps of accessories.

    Hi Tikka, yer I saw that and notice that you have three cross members and the roof rack only comes with two so I assume you bought another separately?

    Bit of a cock up...bought 3 bars but these racks to be so low dont use bars just the side clamps. Had 3 so used them.
