I've been quoted a cost of $2400 to replace my clutch in my 1995 Defender 300 TDI. The cost includes 12 hours for labour. Does this seem excessive?

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
About$400 for the repco kit. Internet for arm price. 1 Days labour plus frigging around time with floor screws etc. flywheel machining cost plus percent. Prob a bit much.![]()
Your guy would be quoting td5 clutch with new dual mass flywheel for that money,he would ring you when he got it apart and say the commonly heard phrase 'I got the wrong one', tdi would be much less.
