AQUIS did a lovely job of cleaning her up as well.
They did at that, inside and out. Looks like a bought one!
Did your sharp eye for detail pick up the bent bumper has been straightened? I didn't ask for that, and the workshop didn't mention it. I suspect someone thought the damage may have been done in transit and needed to be rectified.
So its completely honest to say I received the car back in better condition than it was in when it was collected from me in Malaysia.
On that note: Happy to give high recommendation to the guy I used. Thats Dominic Bonasia who owns and runs Personal Imports. I wanted a nearly "door to door" service and got what I wanted: i.e. Handed over keys in Malaysia and was handed back keys in Australia, to a car registered and ready to roll on Australian roads. Better still - the entire process was handled well and basically painless. (end of gratituous free plug).
...put him straight back to work, despite being almost fresh off the boat, as daily driver. Here pictured parked where he should be, in a reserved spot in the exec parking area at the office!

I didn't pick up the straightened bumper. I was hoping to offload my spare one when you got it here. My sharp eye did pick up the fact that your Executive spot is for a 90 not a 110.
I'm towing my off road caravan to Tassie for a month in June-July, so I changed my engine oil at 10,000kms (jeez I made a mess of my garage floor!) tracked down a blown fuse to my driving lights, and installed the correct Double Din stereo brackets to my Alpine head unit, replacing the items that I made while trying to track down the correct brackets. I made the cable to the Apple Car Play head unit neater by drilling an access hole on the glove box area. No more cable on the floor.
This time next week I'll be on the road, heading Sth.
'It's pretty cool here near Cairns at 23 deg C, so Tassie will be character building!
I bought an 800kg ceiling hoist so I can remove my roof top tent myself. I won't be using it in Tassie so it's good to be able to put it on and off by myself.
Gees you get around Baytown.
I wonder what your average speed is for the past year.
Hi Ken,
Have you got a link on the ceiling hoist?
Thanks in advance
Although my the 110 is up for sale it doesn't mean I stop checking or driving it so underneath I went today and spotted 2 grease nipples in just the right position for a squirt. 2 down 2 to go which when I park it tomorrow I'll do them then.
Maintenance doesn't stop, but it stops vehicles from stopping...... mostly. [bigsmile1]
