Fitted a new serpentine drive belt to try and stop the squeal when things get warm.........For the record its easier if you loosen the tensioner mechanism enough to unthread and thread the belt behind it.

Tote
There is a bolt up behind the trim that comes loose.

Vehicle washed.
Mrs Tombie took it for a spin and said that it’s insanely quick now - pulls harder than before. Funny what happens when you open up the intake and exhaust
(She’s since Parked it back in front of the workshop with explicit instructions to fit the rest of the gear)

My ignition key barrel was replaced last May, it is starting to jam up now, last time it wouldn't engage through the switch contacts. Caught me out twice on the weekend and again this morning. Took me 10 minutes of fart arsing around until it would turn. My local LR indie is organising a warranty replacement. Now to find that bloody rattle in the B pillar.

SupporterI have similar but when I hold the gear stick it stops. Rattle occurs in a certain rev range/ accelerator position. It's the ****ing slickshift I put in, rattles like hell. Not the shaft as I've taped it again and packed it in tight. Going to check the mounting hardware. Does my ****ing head in.
What did I do today. Took my Puma back to the workshop after a service as it went into some sort of limp/restricted mode. That was fun on the Frankston Freeway, not able to pull above 2.5K revs and very slow climb.. All sorted now, muck on a sensor, not cracked hoses.
I’ve built a rear seat area platform to make better use of the area, especially when Rufus and my new Macaw Opal are traveling with me.
It makes access to the esky or fridge so much easier as well when on long trips, and the 65 litre water bladder fits perfectly in the angled partition, and is at floor level.
I now use the fridge as a freezer in the back of the vehicle, and place frozen water bottles into the Yeti.
While I’m talking Yeti, just do it.
Im testing how long ice lasts, and so far, I’m on day 4 with 1/2 the crushed ice bag still remaining.
Block ice would be even better performing!
Im happy with this mod, and Rufus loves being able to see out the windows. I restrain him via his harness through the cargo barrier.👍
