As far as I know - no filter.
But stand to be corrected.
Could also explain the dust ingress you see when changing settings for the air flow.
Like the title is there a filter in the aircon mine smells like the missus vacuum cleaner?
Cheers
Chris

There is a spray you buy to spray into the blower intake. Not just fragrance but it also kills whatever it is that is making the smell. Moisture has gotten into your system and allowed stuff to grow
Supercheap or Autobarn. Autoglym aircon freshener, I use it every 6 months in my air ons. Kills mould sand fragrances the aircon. An excellent product.

This is the stuff I have used in the past. It was so effective I kept the empty tin so I could remember what it was for the next time I needed it.

Is the intake the one on the bonnet? Just spray in there?
Check the duck bill isn't blocked and the under bonnet duct not full of decaying vegetation
Cheers guys I will have a look tomorrow and order some spray. It can small like an old mans armpit when it first comes on
Chris
No, you run the aircon with windows closed, the Auto glym product has a button which activates the spray. It should be placed in the passenger footwell, leaning toward the lower air con foot well vents, air con on recirc.
Let run for 10 mins.
Job done.
