How's this for a suggestion - hold one in Sydney?![]()
Just throwing it out there............its a bit overdue but that because i haven't had a defender for 18 months
the last two attracted around 50 defenders at each one.........
em thinking to have it back at the same property as the previous two.........come for the day or come for the weekend
I'm thinking September/October ish....outside school holidays
comments, ideas, suggestions.....while i ponder a date
it will be within 2hr drive of brisbane.........open to all defenders, county's, perenties and series that are members of the club hosting the day

Would be great to have another one. Boonah gets my vote. Too easy for meSadly I only have one defender to bring now. Camping option would be good.
Looks like you need to listen to yourself weeds, hardly being knocked over with enthusiasm or viewers.
Would a close 4x4 park be any good. I guess stuff is guaranteed to get broken then. But could fill in a day if a weekend is made of it.
Is raising some loot for a charity a good idea?
Fireworks? I'd chuck money in. Or maybe we burn a Disco after we have jumped it a bit. haha. Perhaps someone has a donor defender for that matter. I'm sure someone out there feels like getting rid of one.
How about a raffle or auction, set of 255's might raise some interest. Just don't make them coopers lol. Of course got to get them first.
Maybe Best breakfast. Best work horse, Best show pony, Best expedition. Doesn't have to be much, just recognition even or a pic and a post on here.
I'll help with if you like.

I would love to come, but having just made a trip to Bris, Louth in 3 weeks and the next Edjit adventure in October, I think I've run out of spare time and brownie points.

Sounds like a great idea. But I still get shivers thinking about the last day out and me taking a wrong turn on the way there in the darkness and entering a neighbouring property!
The place where the previous event was held is perfect. People can either sit around and talk Defenders or there are a number of 4wd tracks to explore around the area.
I'd be happy to lead a drive to a lookout that I know of on the other side of Maroon Dam (there is also a nice bush walk from this lookout).
Cheers
