    Custom Kitchen

    Hi all
I am in process of designing a kitchen for a slide on camper for my 130. I am chasing ideas and inspiration!

Please feel free to post you pics or links to sites that might be helpful.

    Thanks,

I'm building (very slowly) a removable slide out kitchen for one of my 90's.
I have purchased some parts for it from....

Welcome to Dunn and Watson - Industrial hardware, Camper Trailer, Caravan Manufacturers, Boat Builders

I found them to have very good customer service.

    Regards,
    Mike.

Edit, also bought some fittings for it from Marine chandelry stores like Bias, Whitworths & BCF.

Personally dont want carpet. Carpet, even marine will need some cleaning at some stage.

    My choice.

    1. Dynamat or equivalent - self sticking
    2. Closed cell foam on top of that, but no glue.
    3. Heavy rubber matts

Thats what I have done in all but the rear of my 110.

What you get is noise and heat insulation.
If you end up in water, you can take it out.
If you have carpet, it will probably be a source of "dampness" - under it wont dry.

I built a kitchen on the back door of our Defender 90 so it's not exactly what you're looking for but there may be an idea or two in these pics. The arrangement works well for us on our trips around Aus.

Gas tanks are mounted on the back of the vehicle, water tank is located behind the bulkhead and is fed by gravity to that tap under the stove. Two drawers hold domestic stuff in the front, tools, spares and recovery gear at the back.

The kettle stows on top of the stove flap when it's packed away.

I'm in the process of making a small cupboard that will mount across the window in the back door and make use of a little more 'dead space'. This will store tea, coffee, sugar, flour, etc and also provide a home for the paper towel which until now has been wedged in the handle.

    Link to pictures.
