It's most likely the pink wire has been severed. Just splice in slightly thicker wire and it should be OK. Had this happen to me with one door to be followed by the other rear door a week or two after. The repairs lasted quite long but eventually had to be redone about three weeks ago. No biggie.
I'm going to do this job myself but I just wanted check a few things first do I need to disconnect the battery,and in taking the door panel off I couldn't seem to locate any screws or are they on clips and a little perswstion required....
Also will the break be something that can be seen with the eye or do I need to get some sort of electrical tester....?

I didn't bother disconnecting the battery as you can disconnect the wire in the B pillar or at worse pull the fuse under the drivers seat for the central locking.Quote:

When you disconnect both ends you may want to check it with a meter, you may be able to see it with you eye but it will depend on the problem.
