Find a brochure (perhaps online) of that model, showing it with a centre seat from factory.
I have purchased a 1991 Land Rover 110 (perentie) and I am trying to find a way of getting a third legal adult seat in it in WA.
WA legislation states that ... Modifications that do not require approval include: ? Optional manufacturer seating.
How can I find out and ideally prove that the 1991 110 could be purchased with a manufacturer centre seat.
I know technically the WA Transport Dept could maintain a Perentie isn't a Defender 110, but it is worth a try but I would need to prove the centre seat was an option.
Ideally I would like the seat legally approved, rather than just fitted without an approval.
Can anyone help?
cheers
David

Unfortunately, Defenders weren't available in Australia in 1991, by memory sales ceased of the One Ten in 1990, and the Defender was introduced in Aus in late 1992.
Hopefully the attached back page of brochure from 1996 may help, listing Cab Chassis as three seater.
Actually I just typed "LAnd rover defender 3 seater" into google images and quite a few came up. You could maybe point to that as well.
Hi,
I have attached page 21 from the English Market 1992 Defender Brochure showing 3 front seats.
