nolathane panhard on a td5
Has anyone fitted one of these to a td5. Mine arrived today and i'm a little confused as it doesn't have the bend around the diff centre..

Is that the brand name? Nolathane generally refers to the type of bush thats fitted to the rod. Nolathane being a polyurethane substance used instead of rubber. Not sure about no clearance bend. How much clearence is there?

Nolathane panhard rods....
You need the correct panhard rod (and bushes and bolts) for your year model, the bolt diameter changed sometime in 2002, the later defenders with the straight panhard rods had (I think) 16 mm bolts holding them on whereas the earlier models with the bent panhard rods had slightly smaller diameter bolts (14mm as far as I can remember).
As far as I remember the Nolathane panhard model 48811 is for the 2002 and later models of the defenders.
The vin change over number for defenders with the straight panhard rod bars is
VIN 2A626646 on... That's 2002 and onwards models.

Cheers for that I think your spot on.. Mines a 2000 and still has the curved OEM one and the one they sent me is straight.. Even though the listing says 1999 onward ...
