defender 130 radius arm corrosion - repair or replace?

    Hi guys,

Replacing the bushes on the 130's radius arms to find that they are badly corroded behind the old bushes.

I could sand them back a bit, but they would still be slightly pitted - or if I sand back smooth, then they will be slightly smaller than designed- is this a reasonable fix ? Or am I better off replacing them with newer arms?

    Suspension is standard height.

    Cheers.

Assuming you mean the pin end that goes through the chassis bush?

If it's not greatly reduced in diameter, rust convert and paint. The pitting will not worry the crush tube.

Hate to think what else is rusty if it's in there badly...
