255/100/16? 😈
Jc ☺
I was told today that maxxis bighorns have been discontinued in 255/85-16.
The same may also have happened with BFG by the looks?
What is everyone else fitting instead?

While you are talking tyre sizes, is there a chart or info giving the rolling diameter of each size?
I get confused on all these sizes . 7.50-16, 700-16, 205R-16, 237-75-16, etc etc. What diameter are they all as some people talk of 35,s 33,s etc as well.

Diameter for example 255/85/16 is calculated by rim first, (16") convert that to mm, then add 85% of 255 twice. that will be the overall diameter.

255 85 16s are a good size for those wanting a "close to original" size as the Hi-Milers on the RFSVs.
Also a very useful size for turbo'd 4BD1s, gives them noticeably longer legs.
I've just fitted BFG MT 235 85 16s to mine on tubeless rims, I bought them with the bonus ARB compressor (obviously not needed for the RFSV but useful anyway).
- it is now a bit easier to climb into
