sals rear axles that I replaced with maxi's

from amongst a pig pen of

front n rear d1 and rrc, 2 door rangie parts, as well as a ****e load of axles

Shouldnt be too tricky, the Maxi sals shafts (I assume thats what you mean) are of thicker diameter than stocker jobbies and should also have longer splines.
If you have maxi shafts made for maxi locker they will also carry an extra set of splining at the diff end of the long axle

From vague recollection sals and rover rear shafts are the same physical length

The maxi's are in the car, just trying to sort out where the originals are.. .is there even a difference from rover diff rear
    shafts?
I have 3 long rears one being shorter by approx 5 mm on the diff centre end , all from the oil seal surface to end of splines being the same... so I guess the shorter is the sals one
