Looks good Ken....I assume your access will be drivers side??

How big is the ladder when stored.

    Hi Weeds.
    Thanks mate.
Yes, as I have a 270 deg awning, access from the drivers side or rear if I needed.
The supplied ladder is 1300mm folded and pretty light. I may use my telescoping ladder though which collapses smaller and is lighter still.
Ill see which is more suitable.
    Best wishes Weeds.

    Finished!

    Bolted down, powered up.
    Perfect!
I moved it to the rear so as to maximise storage space up front for any heavy items should I need a 2nd spare wheel etc.
With the 270 deg awning, it would be a bit of mucking around to get to rear items so I'll trial in this configuration.
Ill purchase a 60kg Harken hoist to be able to remove and replace the RTT myself when not planning on using it for a while. I can store it on the ceiling of my garage. I've one of these for my kayak as well and they're great.
Another job crossed off my list!

Good plan. I fitted mine to the rear of my roof rack too. The second spare goes in front as well as the recovery tracks when needed.

    Hi Baytown,

its been a few months have you used it yet. Do you have any photos from inside the tent. What has your experience been. I am considering one which is why I ask. Its either a camper trailer or RTT. Both have pros/cons. Main one however for camper trailer is the storage when not in use. the RTT can be hoisted to roof of garage when not in use.

Also did you consider James Baroud RTT.

    Hi Lee.
Yep, used it extensively in Cape York and other locations.
    I love it.
So easy to set up and pack away, access is fine, it's very weather proof , brilliant in high winds and fantastic ventilation. It comes with the best mattress of the lot.
I've no photos from inside as such.
Yes I did consider the other top end makes, but this won hands down for my wants and needs.
    Highly recommended.

    Ken
