    Front seat belt holding clip

I want to remove front seats and rubber floor linings on my 110 to install dynamat sound deadening ............to remove the moulded rubber under the seats I need to get the seatbelt clip off .......had a feel inside the battery box
For holding nuts ...but feels like just the end of a threaded screw there
But no visible screws on the out side .........pic attached of the bracket
..........any one know how to remove and replace ...with out damaging them ?

    Many thanks

I had to remove mine for the same reason - fitting sound deadening. They just lever off, its only a press fit connection and quite a simple one. You wont hurt them.

My gosh does the dynamat make a difference. Very much worth the effort. And definitely wear gloves

Ok thanks ....so I lever then off from the front ....ie pull them out of the wall of the battery / fuse boxes compartments ......and to replace push them back in ?
Will they fit back in ok ..ie no damage to the push in clips ?

Ps I'm planning to cover the outside of the two underseat compartments and the floor with dynamat ......are there any other tips to doing this

I took a large flat screw driver to this bracket to try to lever it out
But seems not to want to give .......looks like it's held in by its plastic pins in drilled holes in the underseat boxes wall .......should I just persist with more force or is their a technique to get them out
