I would go with pushing downwards on the tongue protruding from the connector immediately in front of your forefinger in the photo (maybe with a small screwdriver).

Yep. Squeeze tab town then gently lever around the plug to help it come apart.

Is that going through the centre cover under the bin on the seat base?

I cant remember, but.....
The 2 orange clips I believe slide in one direction or the other, as in they are locking tabs, then press on the tabs on the other plug on the same plain.

Thanks chaps ...got it .........took the " have a cup of tea and come back to it approach "
And yes pressing on the tab and some strong jiggleing did it .....

Tough bugger to seperate though .....( ps ...this is the plug under the cubby box
That connects the music stuff behind said cubby box)

Ok chaps .....here is days work (in 37 degree heat that dynamat stuff gets pretty malleable ........)

I have done the floor wells and the underseat boxes ........but I have not yet done the arch around the gear levers ...........because I have a question ......??

Given that I have been told that this area gets a tad hot ........is there any danger to putting a butyl based product directly on the metal that could be exposed to the heat in that gear box transmission area ??

You'll be fine.

Butyl can handle 120c+

Ok great ......I also want to put a dynamat sound blanket under the bonnet
And I note note that they reccomend that you put dynamat extreme under it .....so I can I assume same ....no problems with the engine temp affecting it ......
