The hood should just lift off. 1 person each side open it near verticle and lift it up. That's how it is on my 130 anyway.

SupporterI want to fit a dynamat hood liner to my 110 to cut down the noise ( already dynamated the floor wells and firewall areas and awesome difference )
To fit the hood liner it's recommended to first fit dynamat then put the hoodliner over that . Has anyone done this with the hood in situ or have they removed the hood .......any tips ,tricks and pics would be great ........I'm reluctent to take the hood off in case I damage something ......on the other hand it looks awkward to try to do this in situ .............

SupporterThanks josh ......took another look at the hinges on my 110 ...and yes they look like they should lift out as you describe .........I'll give it a go
We’re you happy with the results of the dynamat under the bonnet? I want to accomplish the same but not sure if dynamat is the best product.
I used a bonnet sound liner from Car Builders. They have various ones, some waterproof, on their site. Suggest you check it out.
