Hello - Im new and already have a question about ABS

Hi - new to this forum - thanks for having me.
I have a DEFENDER 2001 TD5 Extreme. I have a problem with the 3 amigos - on mine its the hand brake warning light, ABS and TC. I have had diagnostics done etc. and read as much as i can about the shuttle valve - checking/bypass/replacement etc. The issue i had was with the motor in the modulator pump (i think that's whats its called) its the thing with the off-centre bearing that pushes against the two pistons that control left and right side brake bias (i think). In the old unit i had, one of the pistons was siezed and bearing shot, so a got a second hand one. I pulled off the motor from the main unit and checked the bearing and piston on this new one - all good, but because the pistons both work, im now no longer able to push the modulator motor bearing back in, past the two pistons. Wondered if there is a way in to the unit to open up and release spring? pressure on one of the pistons to push the bearing in?? Any advice on this anyone.... many thanks and looking forward to being part of the 'family' of LR owners
 Ian

Probably put your question in the defender section, more might see it.
 Lindsay.
