I dont know where defender belts mount but i assume they mount in the same place as s3. The only thing i could think that would be different would be where the reel is mounted.

No, Defenders ( wagons at least) are mounted down at the rear floor which is lower than a series 3. Funnily enough my series 3 SWB is mounted level with the seat box top which is a bit lower than the LWB. I have a collection of "too short" defender belts that I got from a car wrecker.
