frozen A/C pipes

Could be but if short of gas will start with Evap icing up and eventually working back along the suction
I'm a fridgey not a car ac one so dunno if they can with engine heat etc
But yer could also be blocked drain or fan dead

found it and pushed some cord up but didn't seem blocked so will move onto plan B- whatever that is. the other thing i should have mentioned is previous owner fitted this fancy aftermarket A/C unit in rear as well as original ones in front which may be a contributing factor.
