Puma running better in cooler months

    Wondering if anyone can advise.

I have a 2010 Puma, with some performance mods, the latter one probably negating some of the benefits :-) it has an Alive remap, Allisport intercooler, a decat and straight through pipe and a Mantec RAI.

It has been running well for years but last summer I got a software upgrade and had to get a new map from Alive, the performance was OK but nothing like it used to be, I figured it was just not as extreme a map but I didn't need any more power so it was fine, however over the last month as the temp drops ( I am on the Gold Coast) the mornings are around 15deg I have noticed the car has a lot more power, accelerates smoother and is just way more fun to drive than it has been, to the point I now realise how bad it had been. From what I have read Diesels do perform better in cooler times, I am not sure if this is factual or not but I have not noticed before this year.

So my question is, could there be a sensor that would affect this or something else that could fit these symptoms?

    Cheers
    Pat.

    Dirty air filter?
    Mine seems unchanged.

Cooler charge air will always result in a perk up.. however if it's that noticeable something's not quite right I'd say with the Map.
