Ok thanks to all ......looks like I can get a fix fairly easily

Prior to you mentioning yours last week - I had no idea any Defender had such a marvel. My 2013 model certainly does not have it. Am discovering more and more little differences between my Malaysian assembled late model Defender and the Australian models.
(Biggies so far are: no ABS/TC on mine, my leather seats are different, no headlight levelling...)
Ok ....further to the above I took out one of my headlights this morning to see what the problem was
1) the "leveling screws " are not adjusting when I change the setting through 0 to 4 on the switch .....ie the motor presumably that drive these leveling screws is not driving
2) I unplugged the 3 pin plug from the motor and tested it for power
.......there are 3 wires ...I assume the black one in the middle is earth .....
i get voltage on the left hand wire of 11.4 v and on the right hand wire of o.97 v ??????
i have only looked at one light and it's motor .....so not sure what I should do next ?
suggestions gratefully accepted
BTW ....I tried to manually adjust the leveling screws but the just appear to turn and neither go in or out ....I assume they need the motor to drive them in or out
Got the same problem as described in this thread ....fitted a traxide loom to increase light
And it’s great ....but the leveling switch no longer works ....
This thread ended abruptly with out a conclusion to the problem
Any ideas suggestions appreciated
I know I can adjust the lights manually with a screw driver on theadjustment nuts ....but given there Is a switch I’d like to know why it is not working ........is this due to fitting the traxide loom as it somehow bypasses the leveling switch ?
I use the awesome headlight levelling all the time, with / without a heavy load in the back, or towing. Great Defender feature.
Have you guys asked the Traxide guys for a fix? I’d be keen to know before going down the Traxide headlight / dual battery setup route.
Sorry I can't help, but I have been wondering about the levelling switch for a while
My 2002 130 doesn't have them but the wiring schematics shows them
How long have they been around and have we established that Aussie cars just didn't get them for one reason or another?
Mine has the levelling switch. Excellent feature.
Why would the Traxide wiring loom stop it from working?
