Bought one of these recently to cover my load in the Defender DCPU tray...

Safeguard Search | Official Safeguard(R) Website

Works well for both securing and covering the load

Got a slick shift, but won't put that in until after Jan when my 110 gets a service and they look at the clutch under warranty. Noisy, sounds like springs on plate or thrust bearing.
Put Optimill hinges on, nice product.

Spent some time last week (with a lot of help from the seller) removing a canopy and drawers from one 130 and onto another. In due course I'll post some pics in my vehicle thread. Very happy with the canopy and can't wait until I get the drawers secured in place properly.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Are those the anti-vibration / security hinges?
    Where'd you get them? Link?

Also I am looking for some replacement / tidy up options for the 'fake' windscreen hinges, which the paint has peeled off of.

What purchases have you made for your Defender lately?

Baintech Solar blanket did a top job of keeping the house battery (55 amp hour yellow top) charged along the bight telegraph track. Didn’t get a heap of use as we were driving most days. No numerical data as my monitor didn’t arrive in time, but a couple of hours had the battery full and was still charging in very late afternoon light.

About $800 with express delivery. Not cheap, but I love how they look (very OEM) and after a recent trip south I'm very pleased with the increased light output. In particular, the whiteness of the light seems to create more contrast on the road or something which I particularly like.

Also, full marks to Barbara at 4x4overlander.com - Supplying Overland Travellers for the great service. Promptly responded to my email queries and shipped my lights incredibly fast. I ordered on the 20th of December not expecting to see them until the new year and received them Christmas Eve

    Cheers
    Andrew
