The light pole has its own integrated 3 way switch so I haven’t run wires to the dash.
If needed, I would run a cable underneath the car to the firewall as there’s lots of fixing points along the chassis or other cables etc to tie it to.
The easiest access to the dash on a Puma is through the grommet at the top of the firewall above the heater on the passenger side. Remove the plastic access panel from the lower dash in the passenger footwell, poke a stiff wire through the grommet from the engine side and use it to pull your wire through. From there it’s easy access to the centre dash.
