can someone give me the location and colour of a wire that goes live with the ignition on, either in the battery box or under the bonnet, please.
i want to drive a small relay in the battery box when the ingition is on.

Double Blade Fuse Socket Wire Tap | Jaycar Electronics
and plug it into a fuse that is live when the ignition is on.
On my 2.2 puma it was a 15 amp fuse (F12) that was for the wind screen washers and wipers under the drivers seat. I fed that wire from there then under neath the vehicle back into the battery box and had my fuse box in the battery box.
