    I got the dash units back from powder coating just in time for the Xmas break. Hope to get one fitted up in the next couple of weeks.

    Love the fold down tables. Can I ask if they are mounted to the door trim or to something in the door?

    Don’t take any notice of the gauges, I just bunged in what I had lying around to see how it looks.

    The usual way is to replace the whole door trim with something stronger than the plastic, like aluminium, ply etc, then hinge the table off that.

    Yes, I thought so too, but the pictures above appear to show original trim, so I wondered.

    Thanks. The reason I asked is the VDO tacho is 80mm diameter so would need a different size hole cut?

    You can get 52mm VDO tachometers also...
