This feature is a nice to have as we have a Mulgo Poptop.....for us if it’s pouring rain when we pull up late we jump over the front seats pop the roof go to bed then can open the door in the morning.

Opening with the door is a great advantage.

Had a Manatec for while, but it failed on corrugations. Have since put a Rididij on both my 90's and not looked back. Would never use anything else.

I like the way you think. Not that I will be climbing out the back door (hopefully) but I like it. I will organise one in a week or two. Thanks all, the info, as usual is very diverse, informative and greatly appreciated. Have a great new years all.
    Cheers Ian

I have designed a rear bar to complement my front bar and I'm going to adapt the AEV Jeep rear tyre carrier to work.

This carrier also attaches to the rear door & has the room to mount your hi-lift jack, long handle shovel & extra fuel (38Lt) if you buy the tank that mounts to it.
All the drawings are with my CAD man & job must be completed before this winter.

    Cheers
    Dave

I have the dual Rijidij bar on my 90. Have a double jerry carrier/wheel carrier combo. It's awesome, and is it's own bumperette (I've run it into banks and slid along on it and the bullar ) wheel carrier is strong like ox, I sit/stand on mine to get on the roof. Jerry carrier has been backed into a really big paperbark tree and is still fine, it also gets used as a platform (while open) to tie down things on the roof rack.

I guess the trade off is that it was expensive.

I'm still working on getting a camp light setup on it; if you have a look on the website Rijidij can supply one (I was too poor at the time to get it)

I'd love one of these carriers for my series, but it would be nearly worth more than I paid for the car

After procrastinating over Christmas, I have just sent off an email to Murray.
I like the idea of supporting a small Australian owned business like myself,
so it's in the pipeline. Thx all.
