    What is a "Puma" Defender?

    I was speaking to a very good Land Rover defender mechanic some time ago. And they fair got up me after asking about getting my Puma defender serviced...
    They were saying only a 2.4 is actually a Puma and the 2.2 isn't?
    i know they're both called a Puma by everyone but is there a reason they would have said the 2.4 is only a Puma?
    I'm only trying to get some of the right info, might have to ring the mechanic again tomorrow...

    Ford 2.0 L, 2.2 L, and 2.4 L engines are called ZSD. They are produced at the company's Dagenham plant in east London.

    Having said that; you don’t hear people running around calling their TD5 a Storm What is a "Puma" Defender?

    I believe from 2007 on,when the model changed, they were all 'Puma'

    Engines,and a few other things changed over the model run,but they were still a Puma.
