I think they are ring ins an addition to the kit
Use the best quality o rings you can and don’t skimp on the o ring on the oil feed to the rotor filter if it leaks it’s a pita

And lubricate them all before assembling.

I would put the green ones on the oil cooler itself that’s the way some kits come.
When I see the blue labeled packet I would be concerned about the quality of the o rings in the kit
