    Defender 110 2nd row headrests

Has anyone tried to install a set of headrests for the 2nd row of seats to a 110 Defender? i am buying a 2000 110 TD5 and would be interested in getting some head rests installed to the 2nd row. Would welcome any input you all have. Thanks...

Search 86mud or mud86, pretty sure he has done it.

As far as I am aware there are 2 options for this.

    1. Buy aftermarket seats. Exmoor make a couple of options. Cheapest option would be about $650 plus shipping from UK, not sure what the local prices are like. This would be for high back seats on the sides, and only if your defender already has three separate seats, not 60/40. For their premium option you are looking at $3K plus shipping, again not sure on the local pricing. Give British Motor Imports a call, i think they are a distro for Exmoor.

    2. Install second hand D1 or D2 seats. The D1 had high back send row seats, the D2 had adjustable headrests I think. Apparently these can be installed with minor modification and probably fairly cheap to pick up from a wreck.

    2nd row headrests

Thanks for input. May look to the D1 & D2 option first.
