Magneti marelli vs denso vs lucas

Hi chaps, I've been having some problems with my 300 tdi alternator and have noticed that these three are referenced together, are they the same rebranded item or completely different options available on the defenders?
    Just for interest sake...

Magnetti Marelli purchased Lucas in AFAIR the late 80s and is owned by the Fiat Chrysler Group. many Lucas and MM alternators are the same .

Nippon Denso is a Japanese manufacturer or electronic equipment and is OE supplier to Toyota.
If you have a cross reference for a Nippon Denso Buy that in preference to MM or Lucas.

The Disco 300Tdi 100amp Denso alternator is superior to the 65 amp MM/Lucas version, buy one of those and fit if you can.

The Deefer version uses a tiny needle roller as the rear bearing that runs directly on a hardened sleeve on the shaft, and is totally unsealed, so requires regular servicing.
It's ridiculous, apart from being undersized in terms of output.
