Those bolts scare me. They hurt enough hitting them bouncing around off-road, I'd hate think what they could do in an accident.
My solution was to put a bit of roll cage padding on the top of the B pillar so that you can't hit them. You still feel it when you hit, but nowhere near the pain from hitting the unprotected B pillar, or worse, the bolt.

I'll have to check my defer out, cannot say that I have ever hit my head on them when off roading........either while driving or being passenger
Yep, bloody painful, I've often wondered if anyone has been killed by a belt to the temple from the seat belt bolt.
I was going to use some polystyrene foam, but it's a once use only proposition.
Just came back from wreckers with 3 samples of caps but they are not wide enough to fit![]()
Have a look in the RPS for the perentie and you’ll get the Land Rover part number.

Oh Repair Parts Scale.....the army has one for each vehicle.
Just thinking might have to go over REMLR to find the online copy.
Or maybe frontline who are auctioning the perentie.
Ok found part no (see item 6) but question is would it fit to the Puma seat belt![]()
