Would like to share a "whooppee" moment with other SVX owners who may be as anal as I am.

Always distressed with the edges of the vinyl "wrap" . Black on black with white residual polish and accumulated dust on the edge. Those "leavings" spoil the effect and cause severe annoyance.

Over time have resorted to, without risk to the paint or the vinyl, all sorts of "ye olde Concours tricks" to no real effect.

Anyway at last wash I just happened to run a finger nail along the wet soapy vinyl edge and YO! all the white muck came out/off.

So there you go, while wet and soapy run a finger nail along the edge. All clean and no paint or vinyl damage.

For "good oil" perhaps ????
