			Clutch 130 td5 Defender

Hi all, The Defender hasn't been doing much for last couple of years and its been a while since I posted here, but hoping I can get a bit of advice on a clutch problem. I noticed after I came back from the last big trip, with the caravan on, and the car had been standing for a while that the clutch had developed a shudder. This would only be when the car was first started in the morning and after a short run would be gone for the rest of the day. Over time this has changed and the shudder has gone but now makes a noise like a noisy thrust bearing when cold and still disappearing as it warms up. Any idea's please. I'm going to be heading away again soon with the van on and don't want to have to have the gearbox pulled out. I also tried to loosen the bolts on the clutch slave cylinder this morning as I noticed a bit of oil hanging on the bottom of the housing were it goes in and I wanted to know I could get to them if I needed to. I found I could not get enough access to the top bolt to get it loose. I did manage to get to it with a 1/4 drive socket and universal but would of broken it if using any more force. Are there any tricks here? Thanks for reading. Dave
