Has anyone had to change their back lighting for their fan and fresh air controls on a PUMA?

So I drive a lot at night.....So when some of my back lighting for the cabin air controls failed, I thought I'd fix them while installing a Mulgo driving light isolator switch...

Well I could not remove them from their sockets, and when carefully trying to remove them from the plastic chassis, the retaining clips broke!

Has anyone had success with changing these? Would really like to change them to LED!
