    Cabin Air filter - puma

Has anyone installed some type of activated carbon pollen/ dust filter for the cabin air intake? (or does one exist as standard but just doesn't do anything?)
I have a gaping gap between the intake duct and fan (as standard) that i could fix and then add some kind of filter to the inlet on the guard. Has anyone thought about adding a filter element at the join in the ducting before the fan for example???

I purchased an inlet air filter that sits on top of the guard opening. I cant remember where from in England i got it from but will find brand if you need me to.
The filter is great and has kept most if not all dust out of the vents since i fitted it.
I purchased a second finer air filter element with it but i haven't had to use it yet.
the filter is washable and i clean it every year or less.

I did this a couple of years ago and it works great so far.
Bought some cheap activated carbon filters that were for a Falcon I think. I ran some adhesive foam around the edges for sealing, fed 3 big cable ties through the return air grill and used an old hacksaw blade for a stiffening bar as I didn't have anything else handy at the time. You can't see anything from the passenger's seat.
I leave the air controls on recycle permanently anyway as the bodgy excuse for air intake ducting in the engine bay has been removed. I'm planning on sealing the "fresh air" intake permanently shut and plumbing in a 1" or so hose to the suction plenum and running it to the front of the engine bay somewhere, probably behind the headlight. Adapt a small cylindrical air filter of some sort (along the lines of a Briggs & Stratton size filter) on the end of the hose and then put a cheap heater tap in the hose near the fan and hook it up to the bowden cable for the air intake control.

Update: Donaldson do something perfect for what I'm after. Only about 100mm length and diameter.
