Thread: Can anyone help me identify this box?

I’ve been slowly cleaning up after market add on wiring the last owner had added (un-fused battery wiring FFS). I found this box mounted under the rear wheel arch, above the exhaust/rear cross member. The positive 12v wire was broken at the white connector, so it wasn’t doing anything. It has a bundle of wires that disappear above a long range fuel tank, but I don’t think they are part of the tank electrics as they are in the drivers side. Any help appreciated.

Looks a bit like the relay box for trailer lights that I had on my Merc.
