Front Runner - Drop down read door table

    Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has installed a Front Runner Drop Down table on the rear door of their Defender? Do they fit? Are they heavy? What issues were encountered? What other options are there?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers - Simon

I have one as well...although I removed the rear trim and my defender wasn’t fitted with a rear wiper motor....I cannot see in the above pics if the wiper motor is still fitted..from memory that just fit with wiper motor in place.

Umm thought o had a pic on my phone, mine is probably install a little higher with out wiper motor.

thanks guys, yes wiper motor was my concern (and the weight), mine is a '96 with a wiper. There is certianly enough width on the door but how do you get around the bulge for the wiper motor on the rear door card?

The dimensions are 655mm wide by 42mm deep and 361mm high. Are these the same dimentions as yours? The web site says suitable for jeep wrangler JK and 70-79 land crusiers and many other SUV's..

They certainly fit....I believe mounted low as possible and to the right....

Contact Daniel at Mulgo Expedition Centre as he sells and fits them.

I just extend the factory spare wheel carrier bolts to 150mm. So that they stick out from the trim.
Then drill corresponding holes into the front running table and mount it with two nuts big washer method....

6 marine Grade bolts and I think it's pretty secured.

This way you dont need to worry about wiper motor

    Cheers
