Thanks for the feedback. So was the sidewall bulging gone with 36psi (2.5bar) in the tyres or is it still noticeable?

no noticeable bulging with 2.5 bar.
one thing noticed in recent heavy rain was the considerable amount of spray coming off them to the extent couldn't see the traffic behind at night in mirrors.
have obtained some anti spray truck mud flaps so going to try them for spray reduction. Spray really did make it hard to see changing lanes.
Bump for Rob
Guys... Anymore up-to-date information on these tyres on the 110 Def (ie: Performance - pro's/con's)?
I assume u can still fit then to the std OEM 7" rim?
Hi Rob,
I've got them on my MY13, standard rims and have run about 40K on them so far.
They are heaps quieter than the original Continentals.
As per previous posts, they bulge a fair bit below 36psi, but the highway ride is noticeably smoother at 38/ 40 psi than the Continentals.
I have mostly used them on sand and seem to be able to get everywhere at 25 / 27 psi that I used to have to go 20 / 22 with the Continentals.
Not sure i'd want to be on stony ground with them that low though.
Cheers Glen
At less than 25psi, the sidewalls bulge so much they are almost in contact with the road. It's great for sand as it gives the tyre a sort of "V" entry into the softer sand, but I think on stony ground the side walls would take a few hits.
However I am yet to test that theory.
Regards Glen
Hi Rob
As far as I am aware Bridgestone are the only people to make this size.
These are the tyres I am using https://www.bridgestonetyres.com.au/dueler-at-d697.
They do a 7.5R16 in the 604V duellers that would almost be the same size.
On my previous D2 I had a set of Coopers that were 215/95(90?)/R16 70% AT. (Or at least that what I remember them at), but coopers don't have anything like this now.
Pity, because on sand the D2 was just great with them.
