			Immobilizer. Defender 2010

Looking for advice. I have a 2010 defender shorty. Immobilizer will not turn off. Have tried turning on and off with remote. Disconnecting battery etc. When key turned on to second position temp guage goes up to top and cranks over. No start. Will try new batteries in fob today. Any ideas or can i get immobilizer permanently disconnected?

					Hi
Read the page in the manual on disconnecting the battery so as to not engage the immobiliser.
 Cheers

If you have a nanocom or gap iid system you can turn the immoboliser off.

Assuming you have tried to resynch the fob to the system when hooking the battery back up?

Not sure if permanent or temporary with Nanocom.

I have the Gap tool and the 10as is now nothing more than central locking.
