Thanks for the pointers. I still cannot figure this out but that is all part of the fun now isn't it!!!

I checked the vacuum pump and cannot see any obvious leaks. The oil is well away from the vacuum pump and doesn't seem a likely candidate.
Will give it a clean up and run the engine to see if something shows up. I pulled the engine cover off to get a better view. (see pics)

The oil is concentrared inside the blue circle.
the Vacuum pump is well forward (pointed at by yellow arrow)
Does anyone know what these pipes (with the red arrows pointed at) are??? some sort of hydraulic line.

If I was to point at something, I would say this T piece (yellow arrow) is where the oil is emanating from. It looks like it carbonises and then heads up to the bonnet.
Alternative theory is the inlet manifold based on the pooling around the top bolt.

Put some degreaser in a spray bottle and spray it on. Then spray some water to wash it off. Drive it and look for oil when you come back. Seems like the only thing to do. Intriguing, so keep us informed. That oil on the underside of the bonnet does indicate that it is being dispersed with some force.
A long shot but when you clean the area, run the engine and get some one to use the accelerator pedal and up the revs. You might be lucky and spot the leak that way

Those pointed by red arrows are fuel lines.

Right just had to check something.
Where you are indicating is above the inlet manifold.
My feeling is that if it was a inlet manifold seal you would see a green seal sticking out.
My guess after looking at the pictures of my engine is that you have a glow plug loose/leaking.

Thank you very much for this. Feel like I’m getting closer. I’ll take a look tonight, but I’ve cleaned it with degreaser and will drive it today to see if anything shows up.

Does anyone know what these pipes are/do? The oil is dripping from these from
    What I can tell.

Have you cleaned it down and had a good look?
Clean down then start and run at idle have a good look with a torch.
Mix up some detergent and water in a spray bottle and spray lightly and look for bubbles.
Spray lightly with some aero start to see if engine revs rise.
There is also a join around there for the cam girdle may have a leak from there.
The way it is spraying though it appears to be something with pressure.

Probably not the cause, but could there be a pinhole in a hose which only opens under pressure?

I replaced the turbo and intercooler hoses with silicone ones because they were starting to fail.
